It is all about Jesus.

The word of God directs us to have the same attitude as that of our Lord Jesus. In fact it is all about Jesus. Every song, sermon, worship is to be about Jesus.

All the sermons of the world cannot describe Him completely. We can only outline and that is what I intend to do in this write up.

1. Jesus was set to go to Jerusalem.

He knew His purpose and Kept His focus. No amount of ridicule,hate or insult would deter Him from His chosen path nor could the cry of Hosanna and the worship.

2. He chose this out of LOVE. Love that involves sacrifice is the real love.( You need to sacrifice your money,time and energy for Him - if you love Him) He came to give His life as a ransom for many. Hallelujah. No body forced Him. He just laid it down for you and me. We can approach the throne of grace with confidence because of his blood which is His love.

3. His love is shown forth in humility. Just think about Him washing the feet of his disciples. Remember how he stood as Pilate judged Him. Do remember that He is humble enough to come to the place where His children are gathered together. No need of going in search Him.

4. He lived His entire life to give glory to God. In Him we live and move and have our being. Whatever you do - whatever let it be for His glory. If it does not bring Him glory do not do it.

5. He forgives. The biggest sin gets swept under His intimate love. We need to be quick to forgive and forget the wrong doers. Forgiveness is a part of love.

Do you have the mind of Jesus? What is it that the God of the universe is bringing to your mind in order for it to be fashioned like that of Jesus? Get up and obey His voice. May His name be glorified.Amen.

What is the church for?

Is the church a personal place of worship or the ultimate organ for the message of the cross?

Why are we so self seeking to find the same group of people who think, act and pretend just as we do...to form a group or club. Is this the church of the Bible?

Happy are we when we have a place of worship that suits our style and tradition. This is just what we did learn from our forefathers who got it in their peculiar circumstances. Today we keep the world from hearing the truth of the gospel. We have indeed been boxed in by ourselves. It is not the dying, hurting humanity languishing in sin. We are concerned about ourselves.

We proudly proclaim...the worship was good today or the conference was great. Our focus is on ourselves. We do not even think about the little children in the church nor the youngsters. It is all about me. While the servants of God were prepared to change for the sake of the salvation of the sinners, we are not prepared to change any of our traditions( that are not bible based).

While the missionaries learned foreign languages and taught in those we cannot even accept another language or culture. " Ours is the best all the rest are worse"

Most cannot even imagine worship with another race or culture and yet the bible speaks about multitudes from different races and nations worshiping the lamb of God in heaven.

It is time for a rethink. It is time for the selfishness to be cast out. The church of Jesus Christ has only one program and that is to preach the gospel to the sinners and the lost.

The church is not a clubhouse where every Sunday WE enjoy the music and the preaching and are COMPLETELY UNAWARE OF THE HUMANITY THAT IS PERISHING IS SIN.

Looking at the condition of the north american churches it is a fact that the Lord is coming soon.

What is your life for?

If your life does not bring glory to God it is worth nothing. God has a design and purpose in the creation. He has a goal for you. To determine and fulfill this goal is the essence of life.

Just going to church and singing a few songs does not make a worship. It is lifelong. What ever we do must be done for the glory of God.

Living a selfless and sacrificial life is a thing of the past and is not fashion anymore. Today it is all about possessions. There is no greater possession than the Lord. If He is given a central place in life, He will lead you into glory and all your days will be filled with peace. The mad rush for possessions and fame will add no joy to life.

"If you lose your life for my sake you will gain it" - Jesus said.
